Information for beachvolleyball players

Dear Players,

We are happy to let you know that the team entry has been made available in the VIS for the first legs of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour 2015/2016.  Considering the early start next year, with the first event held from 26-31 January in Vitoria, Brazil, we would like to urge you to get an early start with the entry process.

Please be reminded that for FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour events, entry is closed 30 days before the event while the Confirmed NF Entry List is issued one week later. Due to the Christmas Holidays, for the first event in January in Brazil, the entry deadline shall be extended until January  4^th 2016, while the Confirmed NF Entry List shall be issued the following day, on the January 5^th.

The main athlete participation pre-requisites are:

1) the signature of the 2015-2016 Beach Volleyball NF-Athlete’s Commitment (BVB-01) signed and uploaded via VIS. If the document was already signed an uploaded in 2015, there is no need to do that for 2016;

2) Submission of a valid annual Health Certificate (BVB-10) through the VIS;

3) Completed FIVB Play Clean Anti-Doping Education Programme by each athlete.

Please note that the FIVB Beach Volleyball Sports Regulations are currently being updated with the decisions of the last Beach Volleyball Commission, and will be made available by mid-December 2015.
