Nový turnaj v kalendáři FIVB - Women

Dear All,

We hope this email finds you well. With this communication, we have the pleasure to announce that a new FIVB Beach Volleyball event, the Women’s Challenger in Pattaya (Thailand), has been scheduled from 5 to 9 of November 2014.

The Prize Money will be of USD 50’000 (paid on site by the promoter).  The promoter will also provide board and lodgings as well as local transportation to main draw teams, under the same conditions as Open events.

The format of the tournament will be as follows:

-       16 teams in the Qualification Tournament (5 November);

-       24 teams in the Main Draw + 4 teams coming from the QT (6-9 November);

-       same country quota of World Tour events;

-       2 Wild Cards (requests to be submitted to the FIVB until – 30 days).

Please find below some relevant deadlines (as per page 30 of the 2014 Handbook):

-       Tentative NF entry list to be closed – 30 days

-       Confirmed entry list to be issued – 14 days.

-       Events regulations and confirmed list: - 13 days

-       Withdrawal requests: as per the 2014 Sports Regulations.

In addition, you will receive further information by the organizer.

A dedicated Event’s Regulations Document will be sent out as well to the participating national federations, after issuing the Confirmed Entry List.
